Strong arm robbery reported across the street from ARC

A robbery was reported Monday night at the bus stop at Orange Grove Avenue and College Oak Drive adjacent to American River College.

According to an email sent to ARC students, a woman was at the bus stop at 9:30 p.m. when two men took her skateboard and attempted to take her cell phone.

One of the men claimed he had a gun and the two suspects fled north toward Auburn Boulevard.

The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department wants anyone with information to call 916-874-5115.
