Campus Pulse: How do you feel about Davies Hall closing?

“This is the hardest part of the semester, that’s why we should push hard and keep our motivation up. Also when we approach the finals we should remember to go back and review everything we did during the semester.” - Kololia Tenorio | Nursing Major
What are some tips to survive the rest of the semester?
“I wasn’t really a Kings fan, but I’ve been watching them lately and I went to a couple games and now I am actually happy about it. [The atmosphere at the arena] is really cool, people are jumping around, screaming and yelling. If I get to go to [a game] I am going to go crazy.” - Azariah Gautier | Undecided Major
How do you feel about the Kings finally making the playoffs?
“I’m a person who likes the sunny weather and I like to be outside when it’s clear, so when it’s raining I’m less motivated. All of my activities are outside, so if I can’t do anything outside, it makes me want to study less and do less homework.” - Michael Sanders | Kinesiology Major
Campus Pulse: How has the rain affected you?
“Being in person is the only reason I teach. I love interacting with students in person. I hate Zoom.” - David Jacobs | Philosophy Professor

“I think it is a little over dramatic in my opinion, but I do understand why they would do it. I know people are scared of the virus, so I guess it makes sense. I think it is overrated because we go through this every other year, there is always some type of virus or disease, and it always passes. I don’t think we will be able to finish our EMT class, so we might just have to come back when all this is over and then either retake the class or continue where we left off.” Jonas Babel-Buckner | Criminal Justice Major
Campus Pulse : What do you think about the LRCCD campuses closing down?
“Me personally, no. But for people that it is the biggest threat for, yes. I’m not worried because I’m pretty confident in my immune system. I’ve always washed my hands, but now I put more attention into the time that I’m doing it.” - Alfonso Gonzales | Psychology Major

“I don’t think it’s useful. I normally don’t keep track of time itself. Luckily that’s what smartphones are for, it autocorrects the time for me.” - Clinton Verge | Dance and Theater Major
