Emily Mello is in her third semester at American River College and this is her first time writing for the Current. Mello is a recreation / journalism major and plans to continue her education in her home country of Brazil (Rio de Janeiro). After the fall of 2019, Mello hopes to pursue a career in the sports area since she a huge fan of soccer.
