Officer Ajax turns heads at ARC’s Career Fair.

 Officer AjaxOfficer Ajax of the Sacramento County’s  Sheriffs department made a big impression at American River College’s Career Fair on Thursday October 5, 2011 .  Officer Ajax is a police dog and showed off some of his skills as he searched for a bomb that may have been placed on campus.

Office Ajax and his partner Office Barbara West along with other officers of the Sheriffs department conducted a bomb training exercise while at the  Career Fair to demonstrate some of the police skills that a career in law enforcement would would require. Including searching for a bomb or other dangerous items.

Officer Ajax was all business even though this was just a training exercise.

The Sacramento Sheriffs department was one of 47 vendors that participated in the Career Fair.
