As we are still in the throes of the pandemic, we continue to face plenty of shutdowns. However,  there have finally been some businesses reopening, including coffee shops that are putting down their tables and chairs to offer indoor and outdoor seating.

Coffee shops can provide students with a safe, productive and cozy environment for studying and midterm cramming. It is nice to have a place away from the distractions and lazy-inducing qualities that home inhibits.

Based on good ambiance, hours of operation, number of outlets, distance from campus and quality of coffee, here is a list of six coffee shops to visit for studying.

  1. Temple Coffee

Temple Coffee has plenty of seating, outlets and even free Wi-Fi, making it an ideal place for students to charge up and access the internet freely as they work on assignments. They have a variety of drinks and the iced matcha with vanilla and the enlightenment tea are two great options to try. Open Monday-Sunday 6 a.m.-10 p.m. 2600 Fair Oaks Blvd #101.
