Karen Thomas is the assistant news editor at The Current. Thomas is a journalism major serving her fourth semester on The Current and is planning to earn her bachelor’s degree at California State University, Humbolt in Arcata. When she is not studying, she enjoys music, golf, arts and crafts, and hunting squirrels with her retriever, Rhythm.
