The Los Rios Community College District will hold a district-wide Lavender Graduation celebration for any students who identify as members of the LGBTQIA+ community. This celebration is for those who are graduating, obtaining a certificate or transferring in spring or summer of 2021.

The event is scheduled for May 7 and will be held via Zoom with a live DJ performance by DJ SUB OH starting at 5:30 p.m. The ceremony will start at 6 p.m.

This event will be a space for all lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, asexual, two spirit, gender fluid, agender, gender queer and non-binary (LGBTQIA+) students. This event will celebrate their educational achievements and give students an opportunity to share their struggles and triumphs along the way.
