Two men attacked on campus, suspects have yet to be apprehended

Two men were attacked near Davies Hall on Tuesday, May 1 on the American River College campus.

An eyewitness, who asked not to be identified, describes the attackers as two, shorter, white men wearing sunglasses and weight gloves. The attack is said to have lasted approximately 30 seconds before it was noticed by other students in the area, who confronted the attackers. The assailants then ran toward the Learning Resource Center.

The Los Rios Police Department responded shortly after. The two victims were not available for comment.
